Sriganganagar : Suratgarh MLA Dungarram Gaidar inspected the Community Health Center Nirvana on Thursday. Villagers Makhan Singh, Mangilal Beniwal, Gurmeet Singh and Gurvinder Singh Brar etc. told the MLA that many times doctors and patients have to face problems due to unannounced power cuts. Demanded to provide generator facility in CHC for power supply during unannounced power cuts. On which MLA Gaidar announced to provide generator to CHC.
The MLA inquired about the vacant posts of doctors in CHC. Doctors told that 5 doctor posts are established here. In which two posts of surgeon and MD doctor are vacant. The MLA assured the villagers that a letter would be written to the Health Department Minister demanding to fill the vacant posts. At the same time, the MLA has also talked to the CMHO over telephone to get the digital X-ray machine started. Doctors told that digital X-ray machine will be started soon. Took information about CHC staff while inspecting OPD, medicine window, medical store, lab, X-ray and ward etc. Senior Nursing Officer Dr. Purnaram Kaswan told about the facilities available to the patients in CHC.
