The youth is a resident of village 24 BB and had probably gone to the bushes to consume drugs, where he died after consuming the drug.
When a person grazing sheep and goats on the banks of Bibi Canal went towards the bushes and pit on Friday, he saw the dead body of a young man lying there. The police was informed about this.
The police reached the spot and collected information about the deceased from the nearby people. Information was received that the youth was Lalit Kumar, resident of village 24 Bibi. The family members were informed on this. The family members who reached the spot identified the young man. The police kept the body in the mortuary of the government hospital. Where after the post-mortem was done, it was handed over to the family members. A few days ago, a dead body of a person was found in front of the State Bank of India in the area. The place where the dead body was found is usually populated by drug addicts. In such a situation, there is a possibility of the young man consuming drugs.
