Sriganganagar Police recovered intoxicating pills in Anupgarh.

Sriganganagar : Anupgarh Police, while patrolling near Shaheed Udham Singh Chowk today, while taking action against drugs, arrested a youth with 1780 intoxicating pills banned by the District Collector. The young man arrested by the police was planning to sell these intoxicating pills to the laborers working in brick kilns.

Anupgarh police station head constable Vinod Kumar and his team seized intoxicating pills on the spot and arrested the accused. During preliminary interrogation, the accused told that he is a drug addict and a few days ago he had purchased these intoxicating pills from an unknown person. Police said that the accused Sanjay Kumar alias Bittu is a resident of Ward No. 16 of Anupgarh.

Police station in-charge Anil Kumar said that today at around 12:15 pm, head constable Vinod Kumar, constable Sunil Kumar and constable Radheshyam were patrolling near the over bridge located at Shaheed Udham Singh Chowk of Anupgarh. During patrolling, a young man saw the police car and started walking fast. When the police became suspicious of the young man, when he was interrogated, he revealed his name as Sanjay Kumar alias Bittu (33), son of Mohan Lal Arora. When the police team searched the young man, he found 1780 illegal tablets of Pregabalin and Tempadol in the bag with him. Intoxicating pills were recovered.
