Sriganganagar Shri Shyam Parivar Mandal fed jaggery and porridge to the cows.

Various programs were organized on Monday to mark the completion of 24 years of establishment of Sri Ganganagar : Shri Shyam Parivar Mandal. In the morning, the volunteers of the Mandal performed the ritual worship of Baba Shyam and offered bhog. After this, in the morning, volunteers fed 3 Sawmani porridge, 1.50 quintals of jaggery, 5 quintals of green fodder along with bananas with their own hands at Shri Goshala located in Sukhadiya Circle. From small to big volunteers of the Mandal performed cow service and took blessings. Rohit Sherewala, volunteer of the Mandal, said that as part of the activities of the Mandal, the members go to one or the other cow shed from time to time and serve the cows. This creates a feeling of service in the society.

Cow service is greater than human service, the religion and culture of the entire earth is considered to be based on cow service. Keeping this in mind, efforts have been made to motivate more and more people to serve cows. The volunteers made the atmosphere devotional by singing praises of Gomata and Radha-Krishna. The volunteers of the Mandal called upon everyone to come forward and contribute in cow service. Rohit Sherewala told that a store of halwa, chole and samosas etc. was set up for the pedestrians on Swami Dayanand Marg. Before this, offerings were made to Baba Shyam. People coming and going from here accepted Baba’s Prasad and also chanted Baba’s name. During this, Dhanraj Gupta, Lokesh Jain, Amit Jain, Deepak Sherewala, Chaitanya Leela, Ashok Garg, Ravi Gupta, Sunil Goyal, Sonu Jain and Mukesh Gupta etc. were present.
