Sriganganagar : Kuldeep Singh, a youth found guilty of smuggling NDPS Ghatak pills for intoxication, has been sentenced to 5 years of rigorous imprisonment. This decision was given by Judge Ajaykumar Bhojak of the special court for NDPS cases.
A fine of Rs 50 thousand has also been imposed on the guilty youth. If the fine amount is not deposited in the court, the guilty youth will have to spend more than three months in jail. Madanlal BOP Assistant Commandant Hukamchand of the then battalion of BSF, with the help of the staff, caught Kuldeep Singh smuggling 400 pills in 40 leaves of NDPS component during patrolling on the night of 20 July 2018.
