Sriganganagar veterinary hospital team reached the house of goat rearer Ram Kauri

Sriganganagar News Desk: After the news of the death of seven goats in a week by goat farmer Ram Kauri of village 4 JSD was published in Wednesday’s issue, the team of the veterinary hospital came into action. The team reached the woman’s house and started treating the sick goats. According to the information received, on Wednesday, it had expressed the pain of the goat rearing woman by publishing the news “More than 10 goats died in 7 days, there is a possibility of coccidiosis disease”. After the news was published, on Wednesday morning from Dabla, the team of veterinarian Dr. Sukhpreet Singh, veterinary assistant Ved Prakash, livestock assistant Krishna Lal reached Ram Kauri’s house. During this period, 22 goats were injected with Inrafloxacin. The sick goats were fed B complex medicines including melixim and paracetamol.

The hospital team said that symptoms of pneumonia were found in the goats, due to which the goats were suffering from diarrhoea. The goats died because their respiratory organs were affected. The team will also vaccinate the goats for the next two days. Naib Tehsildar Tejpal Pareek also sent Halka Patwari Deepak Kumar to the spot on receiving information about the death of goats. During this time the Patwari prepared the report and submitted it to the Naib Tehsildar. The Naib Tehsildar has sent the report to the district administration for further action.
