Sriganganagar : On the instructions of Rajasthan Government, Anupgarh Water Supply Department has taken strict action against those who do not pay water revenue dues (outstanding water bills) and those who make illegal connections.
JEN Anil Kumar told that on the orders of AEN Giriraj Regar of Water Supply Department, the team of Water Supply Department collected a total water revenue amount of Rs 38 thousand 308 on the water connections running in the name of Kudrat Ali, Bagh Singh, Jagir Singh in Ward No. 15. Due to non-payment, water connection has been disconnected.
He said that a notice was also issued to Kudrat Ali by the department on 6 November 2024 to deposit the water revenue amount. He said that apart from this, while taking action against those making illegal connections in ward number one, three illegal connections were disconnected.
AEN Giriraj Regar of the department said that in compliance with the orders of the Rajasthan Government, notices are being issued to those who do not pay the water revenue dues and a campaign has been started to disconnect the water connections of those who do not pay the water revenue. The connections of those making illegal connections by breaking the service lines are being disconnected.
