Sriganganagar will meet the Chief Engineer regarding the problem of technical staff.

Sriganganagar : Suratgarh Vidyut Utpadan Mazdoor Union (INTUC) has also announced its support to the Sanyukt Sangharsh Samiti’s movement against handing over the Suratgarh Thermal Power Plant to the joint venture. Regarding this, a meeting was organized under the chairmanship of State General Secretary Shyam Sundar Sharma at the INTUC office located in the residential colony of Thermal on Thursday late evening.

State General Secretary said that the problems of technical employees were discussed in detail in the meeting. It was decided that a delegation would meet the Chief Engineer to resolve various problems. Also, the INTUC organization passed a censure resolution strongly condemning the attempt by the Rajasthan Government to privatize all the power plants of the Generation Corporation.

It was also decided in the meeting that the INTUC organization will extend all possible support to the Joint Struggle Committee in protesting against the joint venture and privatization of the production corporation in the entire Rajasthan. To make the movement more effective, a strategy of indefinite protest demonstration and a big movement at Jaipur level was made.

Local INTUC unit president Kanwarjit Singh, General Secretary Lakshmi Lal Suthar, State Executive President Mahavir Sanchoria, State Vice President Amritpal Chauhan, Dinesh Chawla, Jaswant Yadav, Hanuman Singh and other members were present in the meeting.
