Sri Ganganagar : Nagar Kirtan was taken out in the town on Thursday. After circling the town, the immersion took place after reaching Gurudwara Sahib Faridsar. After this Guru’s langar was served. The city kirtan was led by Panj Pyaras. Guru Granth Sahib was seated in a palanquin decorated with flowers. The Sangat Guru was walking behind while chanting the Simran. The women were taking out brooms and giving the message of cleanliness. Ragi and Dhadi groups were singing the praises of the Gurus while performing Kirtan.
Nagar Kirtan Gatka Party displayed bravery. In this, sword fighting, cutting of coconut, banana etc. with closed eyes were the center of special attraction. Sevadar Sukhwinder Singh told that after offering Akhand Paath on Friday, Diwan will be decorated. Welcome gates were built to welcome the city kirtan.
