Sriganganagar : Purani Abadi Police has arrested a person on charges of heroin smuggling. This action was taken late on Friday night. The accused Butasingh son of Baldev Singh, resident of Purani Abadi, was caught by SHO Ajaykumar with the team during patrolling near the cemetery.
One gram 71 mg heroin was recovered from him. Rs 1,300 for heroin sale was also recovered from the accused. The investigation of the case has been handed over to Kotwali SI Rameshwarlal.
