Jaipur : The youth troubled by the irregularities in the recruitment examination to be held in Rajasthan are going to get a big relief. Now the candidates will also be able to see their OMR sheet. The Staff Selection Board is going to make this arrangement soon. Often many candidates used to allege that their OMR sheet was changed and they were given less marks. In view of this, the board is going to implement a new system. So that reliability and transparency increases.
Candidates will be able to see the OMR sheet
Board Chairman Major General Alok Raj said that we have decided to show the OMR sheet to the students. So that they know on what basis they have got marks. Many times it was alleged that the OMR sheet was changed. Now there will be transparency. Till now we were not able to implement it due to technical reasons but now we will show it. It can start from this month itself.
Merit list and rank will be released
Along with this, it has been decided to release the merit list of each exam. In small exams, the ranking of all the students will be released. So that everyone knows their ranking. This will prevent any candidate from getting cheated in the name of document verification. If lakhs of students participate in any recruitment exam, then the board will release the merit list of 10 to 20 times the number of recruitment posts.
Action will be taken against those who do not appear for the exam after filling the form
Seeing the decreasing attendance of candidates in the last several exams, the board is considering taking action against students who do not appear for the exam. Chairman Alok Raj said that many candidates remain absent. There has been 9%, 10% attendance in RPSC exams. We spend 400 to 600 rupees on a candidate. RPSC spends a thousand rupees. Many times there can be reasons that a student could not appear due to some compulsion, but if this is happening continuously then action should be taken on it. This can be a fine. And a decision can be taken to debar. However, the government has to decide on this. We will implement it after the government’s order.
