State government and district administration responsible for Sambhal incident: Tariq Anwar

New Delhi, November 25 (IANS). Congress MP Tariq Anwar spoke to IANS on Monday. He held the state government and district administration responsible for the Sambhal incident in Uttar Pradesh. He also reacted on other issues including Team India’s victory against Australia.

Congress MP has said on the uproar in Sambhal that it is a failure of the administration. There was an atmosphere of tension there after the court order. The administration should have made complete preparations. Should have talked to both the communities. Both communities should have been taken into confidence. No preparations were made by the administration. The police action that took place was also wrong.

He said, “If anyone is responsible for the Sambhal incident, then the government and the district administration are responsible.”

In response to the question asked on the Waqf Amendment Bill, the Congress MP has said that if the arguments given by the opposition members regarding the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) are correct, then more time should be given because it is a very controversial bill. We should not leave anything that may become a problem for us in future.

After Maharashtra and Jharkhand elections, questions are being raised on EVMs. On this, the Congress MP has said that everyone is worried about the results in Maharashtra. If compared with the Lok Sabha elections held there four months ago, this is a very shocking result. Obviously people will have doubts. Even before, people have been suspicious of EVMs and the demand is continuously rising that EVMs should be abolished.

He said that EVMs have been abolished from all over the world. Only in India it is being used for elections. He said, “Although we believe in democracy, we believe that if it is the mandate of the people then we accept it. At the same time there is a suspicion that there has been some event or arrangement that has led to such an outcome.” Has come.”

On PM Modi’s statement before the beginning of the winter session of Parliament, the Congress MP said, “Prime Minister Modi probably does not know that there was a time when BJP had two MPs. Today the opposition has a good number in Parliament. I want to say that In a democracy, it is seen that all the parties should be able to present their views, it is the responsibility of the government to give its views. There will be an uproar, and you yourself want it. There should be an uproar so that all your bills are passed without discussion. BJP wants there to be an uproar in the Parliament.

Before the Delhi Assembly elections, the Congress MP supported the pension plan for the elderly of the AAP government. He said that pension should be given to the elderly. This should not be seen in the wake of elections, people who are elderly and are not able to earn for their families should be helped. If Kejriwal has taken a decision then he has taken the right decision.

India has defeated Australia in the first test match. On Team India’s victory, the Congress MP said, “We were losing Tests continuously. Our team has shown that we have full strength in our team.”
