Banswara : The birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda will be celebrated as National Tribal Pride Day on 15th November. A state level program named Nawadi Yugdhara Praneta Samagam will be organized at the sports ground of Banswara, in which Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will participate. In the programme, 30 people who have made innovations in the fields of progressive farmers, women entrepreneurs, education, sports, art and culture and education, health, sports, industry and agriculture etc. will be honored, so that people with special achievements in the tribal society can be recognized as leaders. In the programme, stall exhibitions of Tribe Mandana Painting, Tribe Design Studio, TRI Udaipur, TRIFED, AIIMS Jodhpur, Swachh Project, Forest Department, UNICEF, Hunar Tribe and Dharti Aaba Tribe Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan etc. will be organized. Along with Constitution Day, Tribal Pride Day will be celebrated across the country from 15 November 2024 to 26 November 2024. Which will include efforts to highlight tribal art, culture, heritage and history. It will also include programs showcasing the role played by the tribal community in the Indian freedom struggle and efforts to ensure their socio-economic development.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a function in Jamui (Bihar).
