State’s first mechanized garbage transfer station built at a cost of Rs 4.21 crore in Jaipur Jhalana

Jaipur : Conveyor belt technology will be used to further strengthen the cleanliness system of Jaipur city. The state’s first advanced technology mechanized waste transfer station has been established in Jhalana Dungri. Now garbage will not be seen at the station nor will garbage be scattered on the roads during transportation from the station to the process site Langadiyawas. People will also get relief from the foul smell spread during garbage transportation. Machine to machine garbage collection and compaction will be done in this automatic mechanized transfer station built by Greater Corporation at a cost of Rs 4.21 crore. Contract awarded to Delhi company; This mechanized transfer station has the capacity to process 100 tonnes of garbage per day. It has been established here by TPS Company of Delhi. On Monday, the station was inaugurated by Mayor Dr. Soumya Gurjar and Commissioner Rukmani Riad.

this is how it will work

Superintending Engineer, Garage Atul Sharma said that Hopper will be brought to the station. Here the waste will be sorted by conveyor belt. After this there will be compaction of waste. It will be filled in a capsule like container. The container will be taken to the processing site Langdiawas.
