Stone pelting on low floor bus in Jaipur over ticket fare, 12 injured

Jaipur News Desk: Miscreants pelted stones at a low floor bus in Jaipur late night. More than 12 passengers sitting in the bus were injured. Everyone saved their lives by sitting under the seat. Actually, the conductor had a dispute with two youths regarding the bus fare. On this, both the youths were dropped near Sanganer culvert. Angry youth called their friends and pelted stones and vandalized the bus. Assaulted the bus driver and conductor. During this time the driver took the bus towards Renwal. The incident took place at Manpurgate police station. Bus operator Sanjay Meena said – The low-floor bus was going from Ajmeri Gate to Renwal via Sanganer. Some youths had boarded the bus from Ajmeri Gate. They had a dispute regarding rent. After this, the women traveling in the bus protested and made the youths get off the bus.

Both the youth called their friends. After this, some youths surrounded the bus near Malpura Gate. These people started pelting stones at the moving bus. During this, about 12 passengers sitting in the bus were injured and the glass panes of the bus were broken. The miscreants forcibly entered the bus and beat up the driver and the conductor and hit them on the head with stones. An FIR has been lodged on behalf of the victim conductor against an unknown youth at Malpuragate police station. Police have identified some youths. The youth will be arrested soon.
