Jalore News Desk: Independent candidate Naresh Meena slapped Malpura sub-divisional officer Amit Choudhary in Deoli-Uniara assembly constituency of Tonk district. In protest against this, administrative officials across the district including Jalore district headquarters went on a pen-lock strike.
A memorandum was submitted to the District Collector in the name of the Chief Secretary demanding action against independent candidate Naresh Meena.
Subdivision Officer Malpura Amit Choudhary was on duty as Area Magistrate during the voting of Deoli-Uniara Assembly by-election in Tonk district. During voting, when Chaudhary Samraita reached polling station number 183 assembly (97) Deoli-Uniara, independent candidate Naresh Meena forcibly entered the polling station. When Area Magistrate Amit Choudhary stopped Naresh Meena for violating election rules and accusing him of violating the code of conduct and obstructing government work, Naresh Meena slapped him.
