A big action by ACB has come to light in Bhilwara : Rajasthan. ACB has arrested government employees red handed while taking bribes during operations in two districts. The first case in this is from Bhilwara district, where a Patwari has been arrested red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 6,000. Another case has come to light from Neemkathana, where a junior engineer has been arrested red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 1500. On Friday itself, a case had also come to light from Jhunjhunu district where an employee of the electricity department was arrested red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 7,000. ACB seems to be in action mode to take swift action against government employees in Rajasthan.
ACB caught Patwari red handed
Taking action today, the Anti Corruption Bureau team of Bhilwara has arrested the Patwari of Sankada village red handed while taking bribe of Rs 6000 in Kotdi tehsil complex of Shahpura district. During this, Deputy Paras Mal of Bhilwara Anti Corruption Bureau team said that Bhilwara ACB First Branch was handed over to Patwari Anil Kumar of Patwar Circle of Reeth village of Kotri Tehsil area of Shahpura district, who also has the additional charge of Sakhda Patwar Circle. Where Patwari Anil Kumar had demanded a bribe of Rs 10,000 from the complainant in return for signing the file of three phase agricultural connection on his agricultural land and registering a well in the revenue records. On Friday, after getting the complaint verified under the supervision of Ajmer ACB Deputy Inspector General Kaluram Rawat, Patwari Anil Kumar was arrested red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs 6000 in Kotdi tehsil premises. The complainant had given Rs 8000 to the Patwari for bribe, out of which Patwari Anil Kumar returned Rs 2000 to the complainant. ACB is interrogating the accused Patwari by registering a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
Junior engineer of electricity department caught red handed
Taking a major action in Neemkathana area, the ACB team has trapped a junior engineer of Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 1500. Deputy Superintendent of Police Ravindra Singh Shekhawat of Sikar unit of ACB said that the complaint was given by the complainant. Accused Sanjay Choudhary, a junior engineer from Guhala (Camp – Chala), is being harassed by demanding a bribe of Rs 1500 for reporting the replacement of his electricity meter. On Friday, after verifying the complaint, police inspector Subhash Meel and his team While taking action, the accused junior engineer Sanjay Choudhary was arrested red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 1500 from the complainant. At present, a case has been registered under the Prevention of Corruption Act and the accused is being interrogated and further action is being taken.
