The spokesperson noted that the US announced new control measures on semiconductor exports to China on December 2. These measures further tightened restrictions on semiconductor manufacturing equipment, memory chips and other related goods, adding 136 Chinese entities to the export control list.
They also say the measures expand jurisdiction and interfere with China’s trade with third countries, which the spokesperson described as typical economic coercion and non-market practices.
