Sikar : SFI demonstrated outside the college in Government Science College, Sikar, demanding to start applications on vacant seats in MSc Chemistry FSF and make the seats official. Students burnt the effigy of Higher Education Minister Premchand Bairwa and raised slogans.
SFI Unit Secretary Kapil Sharma said- There are 20 self finance seats of SFS in Chemistry in Government Science College. Out of which 30 are government seats. There are total 50 seats in the college. This time a total of 9 applications have been received for 20 self finance seats. But Commissionerate Jaipur has not released the list of these 9 seats, due to which there is anger among the students. The students demand that all the seats of SFS should be made government.
SFI’s demand – The list of these 9 seats should be released soon otherwise 20 seats should be made government. So that students can get benefits. SFI warned that if the list is not released in the coming days, SFI will hold violent protests. The entire responsibility of which will be of the college administration.
