Patna, 8 December (IANS). Politics is hot after the demonstration of students regarding various demands in the 70th examination of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). Meanwhile, on Sunday, a delegation of students reached the BPSC office and met the chairman of the commission.
After two hours of talks between the student delegation and the Commission officials, the members of the students’ delegation said that the President had listened to their views carefully and assured to look into it. However, nothing was clarified regarding cancellation of preliminary examination.
The students of the delegation said that our two demands are still incomplete. About 70 thousand candidates could not fill the form. He faced problem due to server being down. Therefore, we are demanding extension of time to fill the form. Apart from this, our second demand is that many candidates were injured during the protest against the Commission on Friday. In such a situation, the date of examination should be extended by 25 days.
Students told that the President said that we are considering your issues. Our demand is under consideration. At present no decision can be taken so soon in this matter.
It is noteworthy that on Saturday, a delegation of students had met Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha. Two days ago, hundreds of candidates had demonstrated in front of the BPSC office regarding the normalization of the 70th BPSC examination, after which the police had to use force to remove the protesters. Many people were injured in the lathicharge. The preliminary examination of 70th exam is to be held on 13th December.
