Students of Banswara College presented songs, music and dance.

Banswara : A musical ceremony was held to welcome and introduce the newly admitted MSc Botany students at Shri Govind Guru Government College, Banswara. Head of Department Prof. Shafqat Rana said that every year students are given information about the semester system, paper scheme and skill courses of Botany. Besides, students are also taken on educational tours.

The Botany Department of the college has created a Botanical Garden. Pro. Rana introduced the students to the special achievements and activities of the department. Students of MSc 3rd Sem welcomed the newly admitted students with tilak and garlands. Along with song, music and dance presentations, entertaining games were also played in the function. Newly admitted students introduced themselves and shared their interests and experiences. The program was presided over by College Principal Prof. Kalyanmal Singada did it.

He said that such programs not only make the newly admitted students comfortable, but are also very important for their coordination among themselves and with their seniors. Senior faculty member Prof. Kiran Poonia shared life experiences. Professor of Sanskrit. Rajesh Joshi told the students that the study of Botany is important in keeping the earth’s protective cycle intact. The solution to all the current problems of the earth is hidden in botanical science only.
