Barmer News Desk: Angered students sat on an indefinite strike due to lack of building, teacher, lab and library facilities in Gudamalani Agriculture College of Barmer district. Girls and boys students are protesting with their demands. Students say that our protest will continue until our demands are met.
In fact, in the Budget 2022, the Rajasthan government had announced to open a total of 29 agriculture colleges in the state including Barmer and Gudamalani. Under this, agriculture colleges were started in temporary buildings in Barmer and Gudamalani. But 180 students also got admission in Gudamalani College. Even after more than 2 years, even basic facilities have not been provided in the college. Angry students sat on an indefinite strike outside the college in Gudamalani town on Monday. The student says that the building work has been going on for 20 months. But the work has been stopped for some time.
Agriculture College student Sampit Meena said – The construction of the Agriculture College building should be completed soon. Along with this, subject teacher and nodal principal should be appointed.
