Barmer News Desk: Students are troubled due to shortage of teachers in schools in rural areas of Barmer district. On Monday, students of Higher Secondary School, Surte, Dhani Dhanau, closed the scooter gate and staged a dharna. Raised slogans against the government. The students are demanding that the teaching system in the school is being disrupted due to posting of two teachers elsewhere. There are also half yearly and annual exams ahead. Due to this the course will not be possible. 300 children study in the school.
On Monday, girls and boys students of the school sat on a dharna in front of the school gate. On receiving the information, Education Department officials reached the spot. Consulted with students and parents. After the assurance of appointing two teachers on deputation in the next two days, the students agreed. Then the students gave a memorandum to the education department official.
