Indore 6 December (IANS). In Madhya Pradesh’s commercial city Indore, a studio operator made a married woman a victim of his lust and threatened to throw acid on her face if she complained to the police.
When a woman living in Sudama Nagar befriended a studio operator, he raped her by giving her intoxicating substance in a cold drink. This incident happened about seven years ago. After that, accused Rishabh Chanderiwal raped the woman several times and assured her every time that he would marry her. The accused pressurized the woman to divorce her husband.
In the complaint lodged by the woman with the police, it has been said that the studio operator used to force the woman to come near him and rape her. When the woman protested, he threatened her. The woman was also threatened that if she lodged a complaint at the police station, acid would be thrown on her.
The victim woman has told that she was introduced to the studio operator during a program organized at Dussehra grounds. After that both of them started talking and their closeness also increased. One day he called her to her house and mixed intoxicants in the cold drink. When she became unconscious, Rishabh raped her. She remained unconscious for about five hours. After that both of them continued meeting. Rishabh would promise her marriage every time and ask her to come with him. It is alleged that along with Rishabh, his mother and sister had also assured him of marriage.
