Barmer : Veterinary camps were organized at various places in Barmer district as per the instructions of Dr. Vinay Mohan Khatri, Joint Director, Animal Husbandry Department, Barmer.
Ishrol Veterinary Officer Dr. Ravataram Bhakhar said that a veterinary and infertility prevention camp was organized in Godaron ki Dhani under the banner of Ishrol Veterinary Hospital. In which Dr. Bhakhar, while addressing the cattle farmers, said that there is a need to pay attention to the health management of animals along with housing management during winter. The possibility of pneumonia in small animals increases in winter. But the risk of animals falling ill also increases greatly.
There is a need to protect livestock from bad weather during this season so that the level of production obtained from animals can be maintained. Kailash Kumar Livestock Assistant said that we should pay special attention to the nutrition and management of animals. During this period, 346 goats, 252 sheep, 28 cattle and 14 buffaloes of 25 cattle herders were treated.
