Ajmer, December 13 (IANS). Anjuman Syed Jadgan Secretary Syed Sarwar Chishti welcomed the decision of the Supreme Court regarding Dargah Sharif of Ajmer. He said on Thursday that people’s faith in the judiciary has been restored.
The Supreme Court, while hearing the Places of Worship Act, has banned the filing of new cases related to temples and mosques. Along with this, while putting a stay on the survey, the Supreme Court has sought a reply from the Center within four weeks.
On the Supreme Court’s decision, Syed Sarwar Chishti said, “The court has sought a reply from the central government in four weeks. It remains to be seen what stand it presents after four weeks. But they cannot conduct any survey for four weeks.” This decision of the court is welcome.”
He said, “The manner in which decisions were being taken in the lower courts within a day. People were losing faith in the courts. But people have regained faith in the judiciary. Everyone has faith in the courts and the law.” , but he was wavering.”
On this decision of the Supreme Court, All India Sufi Sajjadanshin Council President Syed Nasruddin Chishti said, “The Supreme Court, while hearing the petitions challenging the constitutionality of the Worship Act-1991, said that while we are hearing this matter, Till then no new case will be filed regarding religious places in the country, the court will not give verdict in the cases which are pending.”
He said, “Thank you to all the lawyers for the decision of the Supreme Court. We welcome it. It was the need of the hour. This is a new beginning of peace in the country by the order of the court.”
