Sonipat, December 2 (IANS). Wrestler and BJP leader Yogeshwar Dutt also participated in the Sant Samman Sammelan organized on Monday in Sonipat, Haryana and took blessings of the saints. He supported the survey of Ajmer Sharif Dargah “within the ambit of law”.
While talking to the media, Yogeshwar Dutt said, “Ajmer Sharif Dargah should also be surveyed and everything should be within the ambit of law, I believe that no one should have any objection to the survey.”
Speaking on the Sambhal violence, Yogeshwar Dutt said that the police had to resort to lathicharge to maintain law and order. Everyone should follow the orders of the Supreme Court. People should raise their voice within the ambit of law and order and the Constitution. Ajmer Sharif Dargah should also be surveyed and everything should be within the ambit of law. No one should have any objection to the survey.
On the four-year suspension of Bajrang Punia by NADA, he said that action has been taken against Bajrang Punia for not giving the dope test. The same action happens when one gets trapped in dope. Bajrang Punia did not give his sample for dope test, hence this action has been taken within the ambit of law.
Yogeshwar Dutt made a verbal attack on Congress, Vinesh and Bajrang Punia regarding wrestling and said that they should not politicize the sport. Congress has done a lot of politics regarding wrestling and sports.
Haryana Government’s Minister of State for Sports Gaurav Gautam said about Bajrang Punia that NADA works as per the law. There should be no politics on this. Congress should assess its sports policy and then raise questions on BJP’s sports policy. What was the policy before 2013 and what is the policy now? The government is doing good work for the players of Haryana, we hope that the players of Haryana will bring good medals.
