Tableau of “Moti Dungri Ganeshji” decorated with modakas, crowd of devotees gathered for darshan

Jaipur : A tableau of modaks was decorated today as part of the nine-day Ganesh Chaturthi festival organized at Moti Dungri Ganeshji Temple. The first worshipped Ganeshji Maharaj was seen seated amidst modaks wearing a crown studded with ruby ​​and emerald. Ganeshji was made to wear a special crown studded with ruby ​​and emerald. 2 modaks weighing 251 kg and 2 modaks weighing 200 kg were the main items in the tableau. Also, 5 modaks weighing 51 kg and 21 modaks weighing 21 kg along with 1100 modaks weighing 1.25 kg each were small modaks offered to Ganeshji Maharaj.

Modak Prasad will be available free of cost

Temple Mahant Kailash Sharma said that along with Mangala Aarti in the morning, the darshan of the tableau of modaks was opened. Modaks were offered to Lord Ganesha. He was seated in a flowery window. With this, queues of devotees started forming for the darshan of Lord Gajanan. During this time, the temple premises echoed with the chants of Gajanan Maharaj. Today, outside prasad is not being offered in the temple. Free modak prasad will be distributed to the devotees from 6.30 pm to 9 pm.

Banana tableau decorated for Ganpati

As part of Ganesh Janmotsav, a special tableau of bananas was decorated in front of Lord Ganpati on Tuesday. In the evening, Dr. Swati Agarwal gave a beautiful performance of Kathak dance with her students.
