Tableaux decorated in temples on Karoli Amavasya, religious events held

Karauli : On Sunday, on the occasion of Amavasya of the month of Karoli Margashirsha, special puja was performed along with decorating the tableau of Thakurji in the temples in the town and surrounding villages. Prasad was distributed along with bhajan sankirtan in the temples. There was a crowd of people taking bath in Gadmora Kund. In the Dauji Maharaj temple complex of the town, priest Mohanlal Sharma anointed Dauji Maharaj with Panchamrit and dressed him in white attire. After this, after offering puja, Makhan Mishri was offered. Cheers echoed in the temple premises. Priest Meghraj Sharma also offered special prayers in the court of Ghatvasan Devi.

Temple Committee President, former Sarpanch Ram Khiladi Meena Timava said that arrangements for shade water were made by the Temple Committee. Religious events were held at Narasimha Bhagwan Temple located in Panchmedi Dham. Saint Munishwar Das Maharaj consecrated Lord Narasimha. Devotees came from far and wide and performed puja. There was also a crowd of people in the Gopal Dham temple complex in Timava village. Saint Radha Krishna Das Maharaj decorated the tableau of Gopalji Maharaj. There was a crowd of devotees on Amavasya in the Giriraj Dharan temple complex in Padampura village. There was a crowd of people in Garhmora village also to take bath in the ancient pond. Devotees visited Devnarayan Lord Temple, Karmavati Janm Dham, Narayani Mata Temple, Gopal Ji Temple etc.
