Sikar : Khetri Heritage Day function will be celebrated on Thursday at Pannasar Pond of Khetri. Ramakrishna Mission workers are busy finalizing the preparations. The municipality took stock of the preparations at the historic Panna Shah Pond. Ramakant Verma told that Swami Ajit Vivek Museum is being decorated grandly. Tableaux of Swami Vivekananda and Raja Ajit Singh will be decorated and a city tour will be conducted in the entire town.

Councilor Leeladhar Saini said that for this, Diwali will be celebrated by Municipal Corporation Khetri by lighting 13 thousand lamps and setting off fireworks in Khetri. Lighting arrangements will also be made at prominent places. These programs will be held: Municipality President Geeta Devi Saini said that on Thursday at 9 am, students of various schools will take out Prabhat Pheri in the town. At 4:30 pm, the procession with live tableaux decorated in carriages will reach Pannasar Pond. A cultural presentation will be given by the artists of Rajasthan Sangeet Natak Academy Jodhpur from 6 pm onwards.
