Jaipur News Desk: Teachers who were hoping for transfers of third grade teachers have got a shock from the statement of Education Minister Madan Dilawar. Actually, a statement of the Education Minister has gone viral on social media. In this the minister has said that teachers are selected within the districts only. They have to live in the same district. According to this, the demand for transfer of third grade teachers is wrong as per the rules. After this statement, third grade teachers across the state have started protesting. After the formation of the BJP government in Rajasthan, about three and a half lakh third grade teachers of the state were once again hopeful of transfer from the government. Teachers were demanding teacher transfers for the last five years. The Congress government could not open the transfers of third grade teachers. The last time transfers were opened was during the tenure of the BJP government in 2018.

Congress government had taken applications

During the tenure of the Congress government, applications were taken for transfers of third grade teachers in the year 2021. About 85 thousand applications were received. But transfers were not opened in 2022. Other teachers were transferred. The transfers were again postponed citing the new policy. Even in the election year, it was expected that transfers of third grade teachers would be opened, but this did not happen. In the Congress government, the Education Minister kept citing the new policy. The government should immediately transfer third grade teachers. Earlier, the BJP government itself had made transfers. Hopefully then decisions will be taken in the interest of teachers. There is anger over the statement of the Education Minister.

There is anger among the teachers due to the statement of the Education Minister. State President of Rajasthan Primary and Secondary Teachers Association, Vipin Prakash Sharma said that Narayan Singh Sisodia, Spokesperson, Rajasthan Primary and Secondary Teachers’ Struggle Committee, teachers remained in the hope of transfer for five years. But the Congress government only kept giving assurances. There is hope in BJP government. But this statement has shocked the teachers. Currently, recruitment is being done at the state level only.
