Dausa : The weather has completely changed in Dausa district since last two days. Due to this the effect of cold has increased. There has been movement of clouds in the sky since Sunday night. Due to which the sun is hiding during the day and there is chill due to cold winds. At the same time, fog has also started spreading in the morning, due to which visibility remains low and the speed of vehicles on the highway has slowed down. As the effect of winter is increasing, the temperature is also falling. The minimum temperature here on Tuesday was 12 degrees and the maximum temperature was 19 degrees Celsius, while on Wednesday the minimum temperature was 9 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is expected to be 22 degrees Celsius.
In such a situation, winter has started gaining momentum with minimum temperature falling by 3 degrees within 24 hours. Advice to animal farmers – Save animals from cold wave. Animal Husbandry Department has issued an advisory to save animals due to the outbreak of cold wave in the winter season. In which it is said that with the increase in cold, cold wave has also started at some places. Such low temperature affects not only humans but also animals and birds.
Especially the milk production of dairy animals is greatly affected by cold. Animal farmers have been appealed to protect their animals from cold and not to tie them in the open at night. Keep them covered with blanket or jute sack. If possible, keep it in sunlight during the day. Their diet should include dry fodder, coarse grains, mustard cake etc. Animals should be fed jaggery twice a week. They should also be made infection free by spraying disinfectant from time to time.
