Sikar : After snowfall in the hilly areas, the effect of cold is continuously increasing in the district. Today the mercury in Sikar has dropped by 1.3 degrees and has come down to less than 7 degrees. However, this morning there was light fog in only a few areas. There is a possibility of drop in temperature in the coming days as winter increases.
The minimum temperature recorded at Fatehpur Agricultural Research Center in Sikar this morning was 6.5 degrees. Earlier on Monday, the minimum temperature was recorded here at 7.5 and maximum temperature was 27 degrees. On Sunday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 12.2 degrees and the maximum temperature was 24.5 degrees.
According to Jaipur Meteorological Center, there is a possibility of fog in many districts of the state for the next 2 to 3 days. With this there will be a drop in temperature. The effect of cold will intensify till the last week of November. Due to increase in the pressure of northern winds, the effect of winter increases in the state. Weather experts claim that this time there will be severe cold in the months of December and January.
