Jaipur : A case of looting Rs 72,000 by threatening to kill and beating a person with a pistol has come to light in Narayan Vihar of Mansarovar police station area. Hemraj (27), a resident of Hirapura, Karni Vihar, works in building material supply. He was going to the warehouse with a pickup in the afternoon on June 20.
Meanwhile, in Narayan Vihar, a car stopped the pickup by blocking its path. 3 boys came out of the car and beat him with sticks and demanded money. On refusal, another boy sitting in the car came and took out a pistol and put it on his temple and threatened to kill him. The accused said, give me whatever you have or else I will kill you. The accused snatched Rs. 72,000 from the pickup’s pocket and fled. Police is investigating the footage of CCTV cameras installed around the crime scene.
