Terror of this dangerous animal in this district of Rajasthan, made two people its victims, people in panic

Udaipur : Attacks by man-eating panthers are increasing in Udaipur district of Rajasthan. First of all, on 8 September, a panther attacked a woman in Jhadol and beheaded her. Now in the last 24 hours, two people of Gogunda tehsil have been killed by panthers. A 16-year-old student and a 45-year-old man have died in this panther attack. There is a huge protest among the people after two consecutive incidents, due to which people are protesting by blocking the roads since Friday morning.

Two attacks in 24 hours, one and a half kilometer distance

The first incident happened with 16-year-old Kamla Gameti in Undithal village of Gogunda tehsil. Kamla had gone to graze goats in the forest. When she did not return home till late evening, the family and villagers went out to search for her, but Kamla was not found. On Thursday morning, Kamla’s body was found on the hill. Kamla’s hand and leg were cut off. There were other injuries as well. The fear of this incident and the action of the administration was not even completed when a panther attacked another person in Bewadia village, about 1 km away from the first incident. Khumaram Gameti died in the attack. The big thing is that Khumaram’s son was also with him, whom the deceased Khumaram sent home to save him. Before the son could reach with help, the panther attacked, in which Khumaram died. Not only this, when the villagers reached, the panther was sitting near the body. With the help of sticks, the panther was chased away and the body was brought back.

Villagers protest, block the road

After incidents happening one after another, the villagers came out in protest today. They shouted slogans and blocked the road from Gogunda to Jhadol. They shouted slogans and demanded action and proper compensation. All the villagers are sitting on the road and waiting for the administration. Here, after the incident, cages have been installed by the forest department. Udaipur Ranger Horilal said that to catch the panther, urine of a female panther has been ordered from Jodhpur, which is being sprayed around the spot and the cage. So that the panther comes with the smell of the female panther, but till now there has been no success. The Ranger said that the panther is attracted by the smell of the urine of the female panther.
