Barmer : Jasol Police of Balotra district has arrested the accused who abducted with the intention of marriage. The accused was caught 10 days after the incident. A minor has also been arrested. The accused is included in the top-10 accused of the police station. At present the police is interrogating the accused by taking him on police remand.
According to the police, the minor’s family had given a report to Jasol police station on November 22. In which it was told that the accused Hemant Kumar had abducted the minor daughter from the house with the intention of getting her married. The police registered a case on the report and started investigation. The police interrogated the house and its surroundings and examined CCTV footage. Formed different teams and started the search.
Jasol police station officer Chandra Singh said – different teams raided continuously. The team searched possible locations with the help of technical and traditional policing. During this time, accused Hemant Kumar (26), son of Jwairilal, resident of Motichand Pachpadra Balotra, was detained. The minor girl was arrested there. After interrogating the accused, he was arrested and presented in the court. There he is being interrogated on remand from the court. Jasol’s ASI Prem Kumar, Head Constable Bhanwarlal, Constable Premdan, Chandra Pal Singh were involved in the action.
