The boundaries of these districts of Rajasthan will change, know this decision of Bhajanlal government

Jaipur : A municipal corporation exercise has started in the capital Jaipur. For this, opinion polling is being done from MLAs and candidates who have contested the assembly elections. In the discussions that have taken place so far, it has been agreed on re-delimitation of wards and increasing the scope of the Municipal Corporation. Most of the public representatives want that the scope of the corporation limit area should be increased. It is believed that there will be 150 to 160 wards in Jaipur Municipal Corporation. Those areas will be taken in the corporation limit area, where the population has settled and development work is going on at a fast pace.

It is believed that the state government will start the process of forming one corporation each in Jaipur and Jodhpur and Kota. Autonomous Government Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra has also indicated this. In fact, there was an election promise of BJP to have one corporation in each of the three cities and due to having two municipal corporations, BJP has also suffered political loss. The tenure of the board will be completed by the end of next year in all three cities.
There should be one corporation each in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Kota. This has been publicly expressed in the party. In this regard, meetings are being held continuously at the organization level and opinions are also being taken from senior leaders of the party. – Puneet

Every time the wards increased, the scope of the corporation remained the same.

-From 1994 till today, the municipal corporation’s boundary area has not increased. However, the delimitations and the number of councilors have been increasing from time to time. The limits of the Municipal Corporation were not expanded. The public representatives kept getting the wards demarcated as per their benefit.

-In the year 1994, the journey of Jaipur Municipal Corporation started with 70 councillors. In the previous board this number was 91. In the delimitation done before the formation of two corporations, the number of wards was increased to 150, but later there were two municipal corporations and the number of wards in the city increased to 250.

Effort to add many Panchayats

A large part of Jhotwara and Amer assembly constituencies are outside the corporation limits. Whereas, the city has even touched the panchayats of these areas. In such a situation, the corporation neither installs street lights nor makes arrangements for cleanliness. The corporation does not get any revenue from there. Same is the situation in Adarsh Nagar and Bagru assembly constituencies.
