Relatives were also busy making preparations to welcome the groom. But even after the auspicious time passed, neither the groom came nor did he answer the phone. After waiting for the groom for two days, the bride finally filed a case against the groom yesterday. The matter is related to love affair.

Actually, this entire incident happened with a 25 year old girl living in nearby Sriganganagar district. She had come to a relative’s village in Anupgarh district to get married. The groom was going to come from Partoda village. Cards were distributed before the wedding and the wedding was fixed for October 6. The bride was waiting for her groom in full attire. But now a case has been registered.

Police said that the young man had met the girl about two years ago at a fair in the village. After that both of them fell in love. Both of them started meeting and during this time a relationship was formed between them. The young man had given consent to marry the girl. Meanwhile, the girl became pregnant and in the month of September the young man got her aborted. Now the marriage was fixed for October. But the groom absconded. The girl’s father and brother have died, she lives with her mother.

Regarding this entire incident, the police say that the young man and the girl love each other, but now the young man cheated the girl. A case has been registered against him. Investigation is also being done about where the girl had got the abortion done. His documents are also being taken. Apart from the accused, a report has also been filed against one of his friends.
