Bikaner : Bikaner has become the first city in the state, where pink bus toilet facility has been provided for women. This facility will eliminate the inconvenience of toilets for women in major markets and crowded places of the city. Four pink buses have been prepared by the corporation, out of which two buses have been received by the corporation. The facility of these two buses will start in the city from Tuesday. The corporation has equipped these pink buses built on mini bus chassis with modern facilities.

Artistic painting has also been done on the exterior of the Pink Bus Ladies Toilet. Pictures of girl, young woman, housewife, educated woman, professional woman have also been made. Along with the logo of the Municipal Corporation, Sakhi Mahila Sanitation Grih has also been written. Near the gate, intricate and artistic paintings of gardens have also been done.
This facility in pink bus
Each pink bus is equipped with modern amenities. There are sensor lights in the diaper changing room and toilet in the bus. The sensor light will automatically switch on as soon as a woman enters the bus or toilet. The bus has a baby feeding room, baby diaper changing table, small fan, sanitary vending machine, attendant chair, two Indian and two Western toilets, hand wash basin. There is also a panic button in the toilet. In case of emergency, the woman will be able to use this button. There is also the facility of a sludge tank, a water tank of one thousand liter capacity and a generator. A feedback machine is also installed, by pressing the button of which the woman can express her opinion on the facilities available in the Pink Bus.
Women will get facilities
There was a lack of toilet facilities for women in the city’s busiest markets and crowded places. Pink bus toilet facility is being started for the convenience of women. Four pink buses have been prepared by the corporation. The corporation has received two of these buses. Their facility will start from Tuesday.
