Jaipur : The Election Commission can announce the date today for the by-elections to be held on seven assembly seats in Rajasthan. Actually, the Election Commission will hold a press conference on Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 pm. During this time, Maharashtra and Jharkhand assembly election dates will be announced. It is noteworthy that the Election Commission has completed the review of election preparations in the state. In such a situation, it is believed that the Commission can also announce the dates of Rajasthan by-elections.

Election Commissioner took feedback

Amidst the wait for the dates of assembly by-elections, Central Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar has come to Jodhpur on a two-day visit. There he reviewed the brief revision program of voter lists going on in the state these days, in which it was revealed that there is a possibility of 675 new polling stations being built in the state.

By-elections are to be held on these seats

By-elections will be held on Chaurasi, Salumber, Deoli-Uniara, Dausa, Jhunjhunu, Khinvsar and Ramgarh assembly seats of Rajasthan. Rajkumar Rot from Chaurasi, Murari Lal Meena from Dausa, Harish Meena from Deoli-Uniara, Brijesh Ola from Jhunjhunu and Hanuman Beniwal from Khinvsar seat became MPs. Due to which these five seats became vacant. After which, after the death of BJP MLA from Salumber of Udaipur district, Amritlal Meena, the seats increased to 6. Seven seats have become vacant after the death of Congress MLA Zuber Khan from Ramgarh seat of Alwar district.
