Kota : The area which used to receive torrential rains during the monsoon season, the situation has changed now. In the last 10 years, there has been a lot of change in the period of rain and its time of rainfall. This time the Meteorological Department has issued an alert and said that the period of rain will start soon.
So this change
According to the Meteorological Department, the reason for this change in the trend of rainfall is the monsoon trough (when cold and warm winds meet among the clouds in the sky, a low pressure area is formed. The strip emerging from that system is called trough). The migration of the trough towards the south activates the monsoon strongly. On the contrary, its migration towards the north disrupts the monsoon conditions in the region. This interrupts the rainy season. Due to the disruption in the monsoon, the temperature increases and the atmosphere becomes humid and uncomfortable.
the sunshine continues
Here, the farmers and people of the district are eagerly waiting for the rain. After the first round of rain, there has been no proper rain in the district for a week. In such a situation, people are fed up with the heat and humidity. Many crops including soybean and paddy sown in the fields are now demanding water. Farmers say that if it does not rain in the next three-four days, the soybean shoots will start drying. In such a situation, the farmers have started getting worried. In many towns and villages of the district, processions are being organized by taking out the buried Bhairu ji. People have started praying for rain by performing puja.
Alert issued again
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is forecast to remain bad in South Eastern Rajasthan till July 18. A yellow alert has also been issued regarding this. A warning of strong wind and rain along with thunder and lightning has been issued in many districts of eastern Rajasthan. At the same time, there may be heavy rain at some places in Kota division during the next 24 hours.
Why does the atmosphere become humid?
When it rains, the relative humidity will also increase due to evaporation. The air in which it is raining cannot completely absorb water vapor. However, the longer it rains, the more the humidity will increase because the air is constantly drawing up water. Evaporation will cool the air and increase the absolute moisture content of the air locally. On a larger scale, rain will remove water vapor through air condensation and deposit it on the surface. This means that by a large amount, the average relative humidity is reduced through rain. Amount of precipitation Temperature Volume of space When the air is hotter, it evaporates water faster, creating higher levels of humidity. In such a situation, we start feeling the atmosphere to be humid and heavy.
