Jaipur : The wait of lakhs of unemployed candidates of Rajasthan is about to end. Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test 2025 (REET Exam) will be conducted in the second week of January. Regarding the preparations for the REET exam, a meeting was held in the Education Complex on Thursday under the chairmanship of Government Secretary of the Education Department, Krishna Kunal. It is being told that this time many major changes will also be made in the examination. In fact, on Thursday in Jaipur’s Education Complex, Education Department Secretary Krishna Kunal said that the Rajasthan government has decided to organize the REET eligibility test for the year 2024-25 in the second week of January.
These changes happened this time
Regarding the REET exam, Government Secretary of the Education Department, Krishna Kunal said that preparations have been started for the exam. Many big changes will be seen in the examination to be conducted this time. He said that the REET exam will incorporate innovations from RPSC and Staff Selection Board as well as NEET. The department will conduct safe exams in collaboration with the agency.
It is noteworthy that the nodal agency for conducting the REET exam for teacher level-1 and level-2 eligibility will be Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan and the fees will remain the same as before. It was decided to update the minimum marks to pass the exam and also include a 5th option in the exam. The probable date of examination will be in the second fortnight of January 2025.
There will be five options in the exam
Government Secretary Krishna Kunal said that now students will be given five options in this examination. This system has been included in this examination, in which it will be necessary to fill one of the five options. If students do not do so, there is a provision for minus marking. Krishna Kunal said that we are also brainstorming on putting the photo of the candidate along with his roll number on the OMR sheet. A final decision on this will be taken soon. Director Secondary Education Ashish Modi, Director Elementary Education Sitaram Jat, Secretary Secondary Education Board Rajasthan Ajmer Kailash Chand Sharma and Joint Government Secretary Education Sanjay Mathur and other officials were present in the meeting.
