Bundi : Memu Train is going to start soon between Kota-Bundi and Chittorgarh. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has announced this from Bundi Circuit House on Friday evening. Birla said, ‘Many tourism development works are to be done in Bundi in the coming days. There is also a proposal to run a MEMU train for Kota-Bundi till Chittorgarh.
These development works will be done in Bundi
MP Birla said, ‘Our aim is to make Bundi a leader in the field of tourism. For this, tourist hotspots will be created here. Works have been planned in Naval Sagar at a cost of Rs 17 crore. Light and sound show will be started for the tourists coming to Bundi. Also, while maintaining the cultural and spiritual heritage of Bundi, a road map has been prepared for the artwork and painting style here. The painting styles of local painters will be displayed on the main entrance gates of Bundi city. Better medical facilities should be provided in Bundi District Hospital, timely availability of water for agriculture to farmers should be ensured, drinking water should be supplied, upcoming budget announcements will be implemented on the ground.
Tiger will come to Ramgarh Century
Lok Sabha Speaker further said that action plans have been made for the development of Lakshmipur GSS, Lakshmipur Road and Ramgarh Vishdhari Century. For this, plans are proposed to bring Tiger. He said that the Central Government and the State Government are working together to help the farmers. Farmers are being given disaster relief. Proposals have been sent to repair schools and roads damaged due to rain. Village roads need to be repaired. A total of Rs 52 crore works are proposed for all these works in Bundi city. These also include works like laying gas line, construction of sewerage etc.
Speaker Birla said that within one year various works of tourism development will take place in Bundi. Soon the royal train Palace on Wheels will have a stop at Bundi. Along with this, a MEMU train will soon be run from Kota Bundi to Chittaurgarh, which will benefit the people of three districts. Our thinking is that tourism, which has been inherited in Bundi, should be developed and employment resources should be made available here. Similarly, work of developing Bundi TV Tower is also going on. Soon, phase lights will also be installed on the TV tower, so that the tourists coming at night can see the beautiful view on the hill.
