The Food Department team raided the sweet shops located in the Trinetra Ganesh Temple complex, laddus found infected with fungus

Sawai Madhopur : Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan has the only temple in the world where Ganeshji is seated with his entire family (wife Riddhi and Siddhi, two sons Shubh and Labh). Every year lakhs of devotees come to this temple for darshan, and buy sweets from the shops outside the temple and offer them to Bappa. After this, they take the prasad home and distribute it among their family members and acquaintances, so that they too can get Bappa’s blessings. But you will be surprised to know that the administration has destroyed these laddus bought as prasad by declaring them bad.

The temple was built in the 10th century

The history of Trinetra Ganesh Temple is thousands of years old. It was built in the 10th century by King Hammir Dev of Ranthambore. During the war, Lord Ganesha came in the king’s dream and blessed him. The king won the war and he built a temple in the fort. It is said that in 1299, a war took place between King Hammir and Alauddin Khilji. When the war started, a lot of food grains and essential items were kept safe, keeping in mind the needs of the people and the army. But due to the war going on for a long time, there was a shortage of everything. Then Lord Ganesha came in King Hamir’s dream and assured him that his troubles would soon be over. Then this temple was built by King Hamir.
