Nagaur News Desk: Robber bride and her gang make another victim in Varanasi. Ghanshyam, a resident of Nagaur district of Rajasthan, had reached Banaras with the dream of marriage. There they got married legally, but their happiness did not last long. While waiting for the train at the station, she disappeared on the pretext of freshening up. After this incident, Ghanshyam realized that he had become a victim of fraud. On the other hand, the groom’s friends had decorated the room for the wedding night in Nagaur.
The police removed all the secrets of the bride
Ghanshyam lodged a complaint at Lanka police station in Varanasi. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police immediately started investigation. During the investigation, the police got information that this was the work of an organized gang, which cheats people on the pretext of marriage. Taking action, the police raided the Nagwa area and the ghat in front and arrested six members of the gang including robber bride Sangeeta.
Bride calls Varanasi for marriage and then creates scandal
The mastermind of the gang, Sumer Singh, used to target men from Rajasthan who were ready for marriage. Sumer would call him to Varanasi and talk about showing him a girl for marriage and would charge a huge amount for getting the marriage done. After the marriage, the bride would run away with the help of other gang members. In Ghanshyam’s case, the gang organized the entire wedding ceremony and took Rs 1.17 lakh in return.
This bride’s black cars were very dangerous
During interrogation, it was revealed that this gang has so far cheated more than half a dozen people. After the marriage the bride would run away with the jewelery and belongings. The gang members used to divide the defrauded amount among themselves. The police have arrested all the gang members and started action against them. This incident is not only a big lesson for Ghanshyam but also a warning for the society. Such gangs are committing fraud in the name of marriage, and vigilance is the only way to avoid them.
