Bundi : Lok Sabha Om Birla discussed the overall development of Bundi with the people in the morning on the banks of Naval Sagar Lake of the city. The Speaker of the Lok Sabha talked to the city’s intellectuals and distinguished citizens about the wide availability of basic facilities to the people of Bundi and the all-round development of the city’s areas and informed the officials about speeding up the efforts being made to bring the ongoing development projects on the ground soon. Necessary guidelines were also given. After this the Lok Sabha Speaker left for Jaipur. During this time, Minister of State for Energy and District Incharge Minister Hiralal Nagar also remained with him.
During the discussion, the Lok Sabha Speaker said that GSS is being constructed to maintain the irregular electricity supply that occurs during the summer season in Balchandpada and Nahar Ka Chauhatta area of the city. He said that soon after the land allotment process is completed, the work of GSS will be started, this will provide a permanent solution to the electricity related problems of the area residents. He directed that to keep the heritage look of the old city intact, the work of getting the hanging electric wires underground should be done. He said that Bundi city is full of every possibility for tourism development. Jungle safari and boating facility has been started in Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Reserve. Certainly, in the coming days, Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Reserve will become the best tiger reserve in the country. He said that every possible effort is being made to develop Bundi as a tourist destination. With the development work being done in a planned manner, Bundi will establish its own identity in the field of tourism.
Bundi’s Nawalsagar lake will become an attraction
Lok Sabha Speaker Birla said that Nawal Sagar Lake is being given an attractive look through beautification work. He said that after solving the problem of dirty water falling into the lake, all the work of the lake will be done. Besides, the work of paving the catchment area of the lake till Dadhimati temple will also be done. He said that due to the development work being done in Naval Sagar Lake, in the coming days, this lake will be recognized as a main attraction for the general public as well as domestic and foreign tourists. During this, former MLA Ashok Dogra, District Superintendent of Police Rajendra Kumar Meena, City Council Chairman Saroj Aggarwal and prominent citizens and residents of the city were present.
