About Bala Ji Temple

Mehandipur Balaji Temple is located in Dausa district of Rajasthan. Balaji Temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Hanuman Ji is also called Bala Ji among Hindus. Mehandipur Balaji is considered very beneficial for the devotees. Devotees believe that there are such miraculous powers here due to which one gets rid of negative powers like ghosts.

What is the history associated with this

This temple is one of the famous temples of India. A story related to its history is quite popular. Three deities have been seated here in this temple for about 1000 years. It is believed that the idol of Lord Hanuman has been formed on its own among the Aravali hills. It has not been made by any artist. It is also believed that the old Mahant of this temple had a dream. He saw three deities in the dream. Which is considered a sign of construction of Balaji’s temple. Where Mahant ji was ordered to discharge his duty by serving. After which the worship of Lord Hanuman was started here and then later the three deities were established there.

After visiting this temple, people have felt a different kind of atmosphere around them. Although this village is located in a hot environment. But it is believed that after going here you will feel a cold sensation in your back spine. Secondly, whenever you go here, you will find the crowd to be less.

It is said that this place is not for the weak hearted. You may even feel scared here. The structure of this temple itself tells its story. There are 4 chambers here. In the first two chambers, you will see the idols of Hanuman ji and Bhairav. While in the last hall, you will see many women and men, who are said to be haunted by ghosts. Religious processes related to this will be seen in this chamber.

According to the belief- whenever you are ready to leave from here, remember that you do not bring back any food item like prasad or even a drop of water. People here are not talked to and they are not even touched. Because it is believed that many people have ghosts which can affect you too.
