Bhilwara : Pran Pratishtha of Shiv Mahapuran and 51 feet Shani Dev Maharaj idol will be organized at Gangotri Dham Lachhura at Lachhura Panchayat Headquarters near Asind. The event will be organized from 20th November to 27th November.
Tarachand Mewada, a social worker resident of Lachhura, told that it took 9 laborers to make the idol of Shani Dev Ji. He made the idol continuously for 4 months. It cost around Rs 15 to 16 lakh.
This is the first huge idol of Shanidev to be made in Bhilwara district. Along with this, on the coming 16th November, the villagers of Lachuda village will gather and bring Shani to Singapore via bus and bring the flame from there.
Also told that a hole for oil has been made under the idol itself. In which when oil is offered at the feet of the idol, it will collect directly into the pond below.
Shiv Mahapuran will be organized for seven days at Gangotri Dham in Lachhura in which the storyteller will be recited by the most respected Krishna Priya Maharaj Vrindavan Mathura from 20th November to 27th November.
