The incomplete ring road project will gain momentum, now CM has taken charge

Jaipur : The Chief Minister has had to come forward to complete the ‘ring’ of the incomplete ring road project in Jaipur. CM Bhajanlal Sharma has written a letter to Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, in which the need to start the work of the Northern Ring Road soon has been expressed. For this, the status of the work done by NHAI so far in the 97 km distance between Agra Road and Ajmer Road has also been told.

The case of the Northern Ring Road

The matter is of the northern ring road, which is to be built from Agra Road to Ajmer Road via Delhi Road, Sikar Road. In this, the alignment has been finalized in 45 km between Agra Road to C Zone Bypass (via Delhi Road), but NHAI has not speeded up the land acquisition process. Ring road work is to be done in 70 meter width on this route. Jaipur Development Authority has also included it in the Zonal Development Plan. The CM has asked to complete the acquisition process soon. Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has also written a letter to Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari regarding the construction of the ring road. Let us tell you that the second phase route is between Delhi Road to Ajmer Road, whose length is 52 kilometers. The National Highway Authority of India has to finalize its alignment.

A letter was also written to the CM of Chhattisgarh

On the other hand, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has written a letter to Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Dev Sahay regarding the problems being faced in increasing the coal supply to the power plants of Rajasthan. The CM has clarified to Sahay that out of the forest land allotted to Rajasthan for coal supply from the PKB coal block, less land than required has been handed over to the Rajasthan State Electricity Generation Corporation. Also, despite permission to cut trees from the forest land related to the Parsa coal block, the trees are not being cut. Land transfer is also pending here. Apart from this, public hearing and registration of forest clearance is also to be done for environmental clearance related to Kanta Extension. CM Bhajanlal Sharma has expressed the need for CM Sahay to take cognizance of this matter as soon as possible.
