Jaipur : The key to power in the by-elections will be in the hands of the youth. More than half of the voters everywhere are below 40 years of age. In Deoli-Uniara this number is more than 66 percent and first time voters are also highest here. Voter lists were scanned to find out the role of youth in the by-elections, which revealed that 4.13 percent voters will step onto the ladder of democracy for the first time.
Voters below 40 years of age will also be decisive for the fate of the assembly candidates. In many places, political parties and candidates are aware of the power of youth, due to which efforts to attract the new generation will also be seen in the coming days. This time the candidates may not be able to knock on every house, but everyone will have access to the toys of the young generation i.e. mobiles.

1. Khinvsar: The total voters in this assembly constituency are 2,86,041. Out of which youth voters are 1,50,977. Till now, the party which has got the support of the youth has won here. This time the issues of the youth are that new industries should come, complete staff in colleges and rail line connectivity.
2. Salumber: The total voters in this assembly constituency are 2,97,645. Out of which youth voters are around 50 percent. Young voters here are also influenced by caste ideology. The issue of youth is to increase facilities for employment and higher education. However, the youth are silent about their priorities.
3. Dausa: The total voters in this assembly constituency are 2,46,012. Out of which 1.27 lakh are youth voters. Here too the key to power will be in the hands of young voters. The youth of the area want employment opportunities to increase and government recruitment to take place on time.
4. Deoli-Uniara: The total voters in this assembly constituency are 3,02,721. Out of which 2,01,412 are youth voters. The role of youth will be most decisive on this seat. The youth here need employment and PG college.
5. Ramgarh: Total voters in this assembly constituency are 2,74,180. Out of which more than 1.40 lakh are youth voters. Here the awareness among young voters about their preferences is less. The youth group wants that as the industrial areas develop, local youth should be given priority in the industries.
6. Chaurasi: The total voters in this assembly constituency are 2,55,401. Out of which youth voters are 1,31,263. Here the young voters are decisive, but they are also influenced by local equations. The issue of youth here is that vacant posts in schools should be filled soon and industrial units should be established.
7. Jhunjhunu: The total voters in this assembly constituency are 2,74,533. Out of which 1,38,081 are youth voters. Issues related to army recruitment may have an impact here. The issue of youth here is that army recruitment should be restarted in Jhunjhunu. Selection for Agniveer recruitment should also be in one’s own district. Due to absence of Staff Selection Board and RPSC Centre, girls and disabled people face more problems.
